Our Story

Inspired by My Niece—and Her Dream to Play

This all started with my niece.

She’s bright, curious, and absolutely loves music. One day, she picked up an old guitar at home and told me she wanted to learn how to play her favorite songs. We were both so excited. But after just a few tries, the excitement faded. Her little fingers hurt, the chords were confusing, and the guitar suddenly felt too big for her small hands.

I could see the frustration setting in. She wanted to play—but she couldn’t enjoy it.

So I started looking for a way to help her—and that’s when myself and a group of much smarter people than me developed the assisted chord player you see today. When we clipped it on and she strummed her first full chord, her entire face lit up. No pain, no tears, just pure joy. She played a real song that day—and didn’t want to stop.

That moment changed everything.

I realized if it could help her, it could help so many other kids too. Children with small hands, those just starting out, even kids with learning differences or coordination struggles—it opens the door to music in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming.

This passion was born from that moment. From her smile. From wanting to give that same feeling to every child who dreams of playing but feels held back.
